COACHING

All coaching courses start on Monday 5th April for 7 weeks.  Full details are on the website and courses are available to book.  We attach two flyers - one for youth coaching and one for adult cardio courses and drop in.  We can only run these courses and sessions if we have enough people to cover the coaches fees..

TENNIS BALLS

We will be offering members the opportunity to buy tennis balls at a competitive price.  They are Dunlop Fort tubes of four balls for £7.  You will be required to note your name and method of payment when you take a tube.  Payment will be either cash into an honesty box or by direct payment into the bank.  Some committee members can also take card payments in person. More details will be available in the clubhouse.

SHOE TAGS

Your shoe tags will be ready for collection from the clubhouse from Monday 29th March but only during club or coaching sessions or if you have your own key.  Please sign the sheet confirming the shoe tag number and that you are happy for your contact details to be shared (purely for the purpose of playing tennis).  All family members and juniors need to wear a shoe tag at all times on the courts.  See below for information about accessing the clubhouse.

JUNIORS

We are hoping to run a Junior Tournament in May.

COURT IMPROVEMENTS

We are hoping courts 1 & 2 will be repainted in the next couple of weeks. This is weather permitting.  The nets and benches have been removed for this purpose.  If it is unable to be done, it will be postponed until May or June and the courts will be closed for 4 days.

COVID-19

Here is the link to the LTA's latest advice on a simple to read grid:

Access to the toilet is allowed so we will open the clubhouse during coaching and club sessions.  We will have a one way system around the central table where you can also collect your shoe tags and buy tennis balls.  Please ensure you socially distance from other members and use the hand sanitisers on court and next to the clubhouse.  Use of the clubhouse is not allowed in any other circumstance e.g. for socialising.  No spectating is allowed except one guardian/parent per child during coaching sessions.  If you require access for floodlights please ensure you or a fellow member has a key.

All the committee are looking forward to welcoming members back and to seeing you all on court.
